If you have been forced to close, you have the option to suspend your waste collections.
As of 23rd March 2020, all non-essential businesses have been asked to close in order to slow the transmission of Covid-19.
In response to the decisions made by the Government, we are looking at ways that we can support our customers.
If you run a business that is no longer able to open because of Government restrictions, we are offering to suspend your waste collections until further notice, at no extra cost. We hope this will help ease the financial pressure on our customers and local businesses.
If you wish to suspend your collections during this time, please get in touch with us via c.services@cardiff.gov.uk
We will also ask you to get back in touch again, once you want the collections re-instating.
Service update
We are still providing waste collections for our customers, throughout Cardiff, although we are currently operating with fewer vehicles and staff.
All office staff are now working from home for their own protection, and although they will have access to the main phone line, we strongly recommend you contact us via the website or our email address, for the quickest response.
We are still able to offer additional collections and deliveries of bags, so if you need either of these please contact us.
Any advice?
If you need any advice in regards to your contract or any waste related issues, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We wish all our customers the best during this difficult time.
